This Workshop was successfully held for the second time now.

The workshop featured 4 days of full class lectures, discussions, calculations, case studies. An exam terminated the theoretical part of the workshop and was followed by a field trip to the water plant at Dinslaken-Voerde.

The main subject of this Workshop was the right choice and implementation of membrane technology in desalination plants for brackish water and sea water in order to avoid problems such as failing pre-treatment or boosting costs. The participants got knowledge about the newest developments in upcoming membranes and applications.
